As long as you don't take things seriously the news can be fuckin' hilarious! What I want to know is, how do they know people haven't been getting this swine flu for years? Most people that get the flu just use over-the-counter medication and never see a doctor. *Update! People have been getting swine flu for a while now!*

Then again, maybe pigs have grown tired of slowly killing us with bacon(mmmmmm, I think I'll have some now!) and have escalated their war on us! The first instance of inter-species bio-terrorism!

I'm just dumbfounded by the amount of panic that the media can inspire. Seriously, swine flu? Most of the people in the United States that have gotten it are recovering at home. They got the sniffles and a low grade fever. Student are walking around campus with masks on, schools are closing, people aren't buying pork, and the stock market is dropping... what kind of paranoia is this? Do we give two shits about West Nile or Bird Flu anymore? NO. Why? Because it is all mindless bullshit. Are you taking precautions and safeguards against the Piggy-Flu? Do you know that only 1 out of 3 million Americans have gotten it and that only 1 in 300 million Americans have died from it? People actually live in fear of this. Your chances of death by lightening or shark attack is FAR greater.
