I can't believe this doesn't happen more often. By all rights it should. If you people aren't going to actually use the brain millions of years of evolution gave them do they really deserve them? If you meet someone that's worried about 2012 just ask them what they did Dec 31, 2008, or 2007 or 1985 if they were alive back then.

world was supposed to end in '08 and '07? born in 86 so 1985 was not a worry for me. i do recall the crazies going on about 'y2k'. 12/21/12 ill probably do something special, but more in the idea of im partying because stupid people think the world is ending.

Was mainly commenting that each year our calendar ends and yet the world continues, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were end of the world myths for those years. There have been so many. Partying on that day does sound like a great idea! I'm with you there.

this is just so annoying when people get all scared that the worlds gunna end cuz the aztecs or the incas or sumthin sed so. they lived a million years back, and they didnt have technology. i mean, what, everything just gunna cease to exist?

I wonder if they think the world will end 2012 in THEIR timezones. I live in Asia and we technically experience new year before everyone else except for New Zealand and Australia, so what about them? Will they start dying first because 2012 comes to them first? XD Ridiculous.
